About the product
A3.Finance is a management layer on top of accounting: reporting, budgeting, payment calendar, forecasting and financial analysis.
Accounting tells what happened. We tell what it means
A bookkeeping system records facts: entries, taxes, payroll, assets. That is enough to file statutory reports and not enough to make a decision. The management layer starts where regulation ends: allocation of indirect costs, provisions, reclassification of items, the plan for the next quarter.
A3.Finance receives accounting data, interprets it and adds what bookkeeping lacks. The product does not keep the accounts and is not the source of truth for accounting data, so any correction goes back to the accounting system instead of being rewritten here.

Why accounting and analytics are two products
Three forms were considered. A register inside analytics made it impossible to sell and develop accounting separately. A register as a platform service turned posting a transaction into a distributed transaction for a consumer that does not exist yet. The third option was chosen: two products, two registers and a single exchange contract.
Accounting evolves on its own
A3.Accounting has its own team, its own backlog and its own market. The free plan makes it an entry product for companies without an accounting system.
The boundary is clear to the buyer
It matches a boundary that already exists on the market: an accounting system and a management accounting system. It needs no explanation.
The 1C integration is not second-class
The contract is designed for an external system first. The in-house bookkeeping gets faster data delivery, not privileged access.
The price of this decision: two registers instead of one, each with its own double entry, period closing and reversals. It is a deliberate cost of being able to develop accounting separately.
What stays outside the product
The product boundaries are drawn explicitly so as not to promise what it does not do.
Keeping the accounts
Transaction entry, chart of accounts, taxes, payroll, assets and inventory live in the accounting system.
Investment function
Shares, bonds, metals and funds are moved to a separate product, A3.Invest. Only financial investments as an asset line remain here.
Raising external investors
Functionally this is a collective investment platform. In most target countries such activity is licensed, so the block will not be developed until lawyers give their opinion.
Counterparty checks
Risk profiles and affiliations are handled by A3.Trust. Receivables go there from here as a scoring factor.
