Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own bookkeeping to get started?
No. If there is no accounting system, an A3.Accounting account is created right from the product. The first report is built from an uploaded bank statement for a past period.
What counts as a connected data source?
One accounting system of one legal entity. A company that runs two 1C databases uses two sources, each with its own mapping.
Why is there no specific price on the page?
The configuration depends on the number of legal entities, sources and connected modules. The set is assembled for the organization in A3.ID, so the price is quoted after a conversation about the scope.
Can I connect a module that is not in my edition?
Yes. A missing module is connected separately, and the application shows which edition includes it.
Can it work on top of an on-premises 1C installation?
Yes. The exchange runs through files or a connector agent on the customer’s side. Direct database access is not used: it breaks the external system’s support terms and fails when the system is updated.
Not sure which edition you need?
Tell us which system you keep your accounts in and how many legal entities are in scope. We will put together a configuration with room to grow and show it on your data.
